Leadership

We enthusiastically called our pastor, Dr. Joe Martin, to lead our congregation in 2019. Pastor Martin has worked in government service for over 20 years. He is a dual-service veteran of the Marine Corps and the Army, and he is currently assigned as a Chaplain in the US Army Reserves. He has over a decade of experience in church and Christian ministries. He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree at Luther Rice College & Seminary in 2018. He also holds the degrees of Master of Divinity (Luther Rice College & Seminary, 2016), Master of Religious Education (West Coast Baptist College, 2014), and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry (Florida Baptist College, 2008). He is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor and certified suicide counselor and caregiver through the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Board of Christian Care. We are blessed to have a compassionate teacher and shepherd as the pastor of our church!

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education with a minor in Music from Faithway Baptist College of Canada in 2001. She served as a Christian school teacher for over 10 years in Tampa, Florida. She joyfully serves the church in many capacities, including as the church office administrator as well as in children's ministries and in special ways with the ladies of the church.
