Dr. Joe Martin

Pastor

We enthusiastically called our pastor, Dr. Joe Martin, to lead our congregation in 2019. Pastor Martin has worked in government service for over 20 years. He is a dual-service veteran of the Marine Corps and the Army, and he is currently assigned as a Chaplain in the US Army Reserves. He has over a decade of experience in church and Christian ministries. He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree at Luther Rice College & Seminary in 2018. He also holds the degrees of Master of Divinity (Luther Rice College & Seminary, 2016), Master of Religious Education (West Coast Baptist College, 2014), and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry (Florida Baptist College, 2008). He is a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Board of Christian Care.  He has specializations in Pre-Marriage Preparation, Marriage Counseling and Enrichment, Suicide Prevention, Intervention, and Recovery, and Leadership and Organizational Development with Franklin Covey.  We are blessed to have a compassionate teacher and shepherd as the pastor of our church!

Lisa Martin

Executive Administrator

Lisa is a vital member of our staff, ensuring that office administration flows smoothly in the day-to-day tasks and plans of ministry.  In addition to her professional duties, Lisa joyfully serves in the music, children's, and ladies' ministries.  Her personal work in people's lives has greatly increased the spiritual health of our church.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education with a minor in Music from Faithway Baptist College of Canada in 2001. She also served as a Christian school teacher for over 10 years in Tampa, Florida and holds a National Directors credential for pre-school development and curriculum.  She is also certified by LivingWorks as a caregiver to provide skilled Suicide Intervention to persons in need.  We are delighted to benefit from Lisa's work in our ministry.
