Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

The Bible shows us God’s immense desire to reach the world with the message of salvation. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God sent His only Son with a message of light for a dark world. As believers, we should endeavor to follow Christ’s teachings and example to “seek” those who are lost.

Since its inception, Liberty Baptist Church has had a passion to see souls saved on the mission field, no matter if that mission field is on American soil or in a distant land. Currently, Liberty Baptist supports over 20 missionaries who are taking the gospel of Christ throughout the world.  Our contributions are directed to various outreach efforts such as Bible distribution in Thailand and Cambodia as well as vital resources for the terror stricken of West Africa, the deaf in Colorado, and the rural youth of America.

We organize our efforts monthly to reach out to our local community with the gospel. Our “M.O.V.E.” (Monthly Outreach, Visitation, and Evangelism) Meeting is held the 3rd Sunday of each month at 4p.m.

Many of our members collect coins in a “M.A.R.S. Jar” to provide a special offering for our missionaries. Grab yours at the welcome center!

Serve the Kingdom on our upcoming mission trip to Kenya, Africa and Big Bear, California

We are currently planning two missions trips within the next year!

We aim to support Missionary Peter Morris in Nairobi, Kenya and his development of a school to train African pastors lead their new churches.  Due to changing policies in Kenya regarding COVID-19, we continue to refine the timing of the trip.

In 2022, we are planning a trip to Big Bear, California to assist church planter Jackie Elwart and his family to start a church.

See Pastor Martin for more details!
